INTRODUCTION ABOUT PYRIGESIC DROPSPyrigesic Drops used for fever due to bacterial, viral infections, post-immunisation and mild to moderate pain associated with sore throat, headache, earaches, joint and muscle pain in children. It contains Paracetamol as an active ingredient. Paracetamol acts as an analgesic, and antipyretic, which works by blocking certain chemical messengers and pathways in the brain (cyclooxygenase, COX-1 and COX-2) that send signals about pain and fever. Always give Pyrigesic Drops as advised by the physician. It is for paediatric use. Shake well before use. Do not give more than daily dose as it may cause serious liver damage or allergic reactions (e.g., swelling of the face, mouth and throat, difficulty in breathing, itching or rash).
