Introduction
PRASUDOC 10MG TABLET contains Prasugrel which belongs to the group of medicines called Antiplatelet agents. It is used to manage blood clot formation in the body. It can also reduce the risk of heart attack, stroke, angina (chest pain) and other circulatory problems among patients having heart block, stents in the heart or other heart-related complications. Before taking PRASUDOC 10MG TABLET inform your doctor if you have any liver or kidney problems. It is strictly not recommended for use in patients with severe liver problems or bleeding problems (internal bleeding conditions). PRASUDOC 10MG TABLET may make you bleed more easily even after minor cuts or injuries, and so be cautions while you perform even minor activities in your day-to-day life that involves risk of cuts or injuries (like shaving, playing, or handling sharp objects). How It Works
PRASUDOC 10MG TABLET is an antiplatelet medication. It manages the clumping of platelets (a type of blood cells that causes blood clot) within the blood vessels. This reduces the chances of blood clot formation within the blood vessel and improves blood flow within them. As a result, it reduces the risk of heart attack, stroke and angina.
Directions for Use
Take PRASUDOC 10MG TABLET as advised by your physician. Swallow the medicine with a glass of water. Do not crush or chew the medicine. It can be taken with or without meals. Your doctor will decide the correct dose and duration of therapy for you depending upon your age, body weight and disease condition. Do not stop taking PRASUDOC 10MG TABLET without consulting your doctor.
Side Effects
