INTRODUCTION ABOUT POVI 10 SOLUTIONPovi-10 Solution is a microbicidal solution used as an adjunctive management of infection in skin loss lesion-cuts, ulcers and wounds including post-operative wounds. It contains povidone iodine as an active ingredient to decrease the risk of infection by killing the micro-organisms at the site of application. Povidone-iodine inhibits the synthesis of various cellular mechanisms of bacteria that lead to their death. Also, it exhibits anti-inflammatory reactions that counteracts inflammation associated with pathogens and host response. Always use Povi-10 Solution as advised by your doctor. It is for external use only. Clean the affected area and apply a small amount of solution to the affected area. The area may be left uncovered or you may cover with a sterile bandage.
