Introduction

PLETOZ 100MG TABLET contains Cilostazol which belongs to the group of medicines called Phosphodiesterase type 3 inhibitors. It is used in the management of intermittent claudication, which is defined as the cramp-like pain in the legs while walking caused by insufficient blood supply in the legs. Symptoms include pain, ache, discomfort or fatigue in muscles every time, when those muscles are used (usually the calves, thighs, buttocks, hips or feet). Along with this management your doctor might advise you to make lifestyle modifications like increasing regular exercise and stop smoking. Prior to the management, your doctor may want you to take ankle-brachial index test to understand your existing condition. PLETOZ 100MG TABLET is not recommended for use in patients having severe heart problems (such as heart failure, heart attack), uncontrolled blood pressure, kidney or liver disease, active stomach ulcer and stroke. Do not drink large amounts of grapefruit juice while taking PLETOZ 100MG TABLET as it may reduce the effect of this medicine. Take PLETOZ 100MG TABLET as advised by your physician. Swallow PLETOZ 100MG TABLET with a glass of water. Do not crush or chew the medicine. Your doctor will decide the correct dose and duration for you depending upon your age, body weight and disease condition.
