Introduction

PHYTORAL TABLET contains Ketoconazole which belongs to the group of medicines called Antifungals. It is used in adults to manage systemic fungal infections, chronic mucocutaneous and vaginal candidiasis, oral rush candiduric (fungal infection of mouth), etc. Avoid drinking alcohol while receiving PHYTORAL TABLET management. Before taking PHYTORAL TABLET, inform your doctor if you have any liver, heart, or adrenal problems. PHYTORAL TABLET should be used during pregnancy only if the potential benefit justifies the potential risk to the baby. PHYTORAL TABLET is not recommended for use by breastfeeding women. PHYTORAL TABLET works by blocking the synthesis of ergosterol (a key component of the fungal cell membrane) thus weakening the structure and function of the fungal cell membrane.

Directions for Use

Take PHYTORAL TABLET as advised by your physician. Do not crush or chew it. Swallow PHYTORAL TABLET as whole with a glass of water. Your doctor will decide the right dose and duration of therapy for you according to your age, body weight and disease condition.
