Introduction
INTRODUCTION ABOUT PHENSEDYL LR SUSPENSIONPHENSEDYL LR SUSPENSION contains Levocloperastine which belongs to the group of medicines called Antitussives agents. It is used for symptomatic management of non-productive cough associated with acute and chronic respiratory disorders. Do not consume alcohol while taking this medicine. PHENSEDYL LR SUSPENSION is not recommended for use in patients with severe liver impairment, have excessive discharge of mucus, or limited mucociliary function. Before using PHENSEDYL LR SUSPENSION tell your doctor if you have hypertension, cardiovascular disease, uncontrolled diabetes mellitus, hyperthyroidism, or seizures. PHENSEDYL LR SUSPENSION is generally not recommended for use in pregnant or breastfeeding women. It is not recommended for use in children (early childhood). PHENSEDYL LR SUSPENSION acts at the central nervous system (CNS) level by blocking both the central cough centre and peripheral receptors in the airway passage (trachea, lungs). Hence reducing the cough.

Use PHENSEDYL LR SUSPENSION as advised by your physician. Shake well before use. Your doctor will decide the correct dose and duration for you depending upon your age, disease condition and body weight.
