Introduction
INTRODUCTION ABOUT OXICOJEN CREAMOXICOJEN CREAM contains Oxiconazole which belongs to the group of medicines called Antifungal agents. It is used in the topical management of fungal skin infections (such as athlete’s foot, Jock itch, ringworm infection, pityriasis versicolor (small, discoloured patches on the skin)). OXICOJEN CREAM is for external use only. Take the required quantity of the medicine and apply to the affected skin areas. Do not cover the affected areas after applying this medicine. Use OXICOJEN CREAM for the stipulated duration instructed by your physician to achieve better results. Failing to do so may not result in adequate infection control. Also, inform your doctor if you don’t see any improvement in your condition after 2-4 weeks of therapy. Before using OXICOJEN CREAM inform your doctor if you are allergic to oxiconazole. OXICOJEN CREAM is an antifungal medication. It effectively controls fungal infections of the skin. It disrupts the fungal cell membrane by blocking the production of certain chemicals (ergosterol) within the cell which is required for its survival. As a result, it stops the fungal cell from multiplication, thereby managing the further spread of infection.
Directions for Use
OXICOJEN CREAM is for external use only. Take the required quantity of the medicine and apply to the affected skin areas. Avoid contact of this medicine with your eyes, ears, nose or any other mucous membranes. Do not cover the affected area after applying this medicine. Your doctor will decide the correct dose and duration of therapy for you depending on your age, body weight and severity of the infection. Do not stop using OXICOJEN CREAM without consulting your doctor.
