symptoms of mild to moderate osteoarthritis of the knee It is not indicated for the management of acute painful symptoms This medicine is not to be used for the management of any other areas of your body affected by osteoarthritis or to manage other types of arthritis e.g. rheumatoid arthritis Talk to Doctor Pregnancy & Breast Feeding Children & Adolescents Driving & Using Machines Talk to your doctor before taking this medicine, if you: are allergic to glucosamine and diacerein or to any of the other ingredients of this medicine have kidney or liver problems suffer from diabetes (type I or II) have a known risk factor for heart (cardiovascular) disease suffer with asthma have joint swelling, warmth and redness, joint painfulness, persistent joint stiffness, pain at rest, pain in more than one joint, increased body temperature and decrease in body weight because they can be symptoms (signs of illness) of more serious diseases such as rheumatoid arthritis, systemic lupus, gout, tumors If you are pregnant or breast-feeding, think you may be pregnant or are planning to have a baby, ask your doctor for advice before taking this medicine This medicine is not recommended for use in children and adolescents OSICARE PLUS may cause drowsiness or sleepiness. You should not drive or operate machinery until you know how the drug affects you Tell your doctor if you are taking, have recently taken or might take any other medicines such as, warfarin, dicoumarol, phenprocoumon, acenocoumarol and fluidione, used to prevent blood clotting medicines for diabetes tetracycline (antibiotic) aluminium hydroxide/magnesium hydroxide amoxycillin laxatives Always take this medicine exactly as your doctor has told you One tablet should be taken once daily It should be swallowed whole with water Do not chew or crush If you take more OSICARE PLUS If you take more OSICARE PLUS you must consult your doctor or a hospital. In case of an overdose you may experience symptoms (signs of illness) such as headache dizziness disorientation joint pain feeling sick (nausea) or being sick (vomiting) diarrhea or constipation If you forget to take OSICARE PLUS If you miss a dose, take the missed dose as soon as you remember or in the usual time but do not take two doses in one day If you stop using OSICARE PLUS Do not stop using OSICARE PLUS unless told by your doctor Serious Common Uncommon Rare Very Rare Like all medicines, this medicine can cause side effects, although not everyone gets them.
