Introduction
Orofer XT Tablet is a nutritional supplement used to manage iron deficiency anaemia (decrease in the count of red blood cells). It contains iron and folic acid as active ingredients that helps overcome nutritional deficiencies. Ferrous ascorbate (iron) is an essential component of haemoglobin and is necessary for effective formation of red blood cells. It also serves as a cofactor of several essential enzymes. Folic acid is required for synthesis of nucleoprotein, purine nucleotides and the metabolism of some amino acids, normal growth and cell reproduction, and the maintenance of normal RBC formation. OROFER XT TABLETOrofer XT Tablet may cause constipation, diarrhoea, nausea, vomiting, dark stools and stomach pain in some individuals.
