It is used for symptomatic relief of gastric hyperacidity associated with gastritis, peptic ulcer, and esophageal reflux with heartburn. OMEZ O SUGAR FREE MINT FLAVOUR SUSPENSION is not recommended for use in patients having renal failure, partial intestinal obstruction, gastric outlet obstruction, constipation, or hypophosphatemia (low level of phosphate). Magnesium hydroxide decreases stomach acid and increases the amount of water in the intestines that may induce the movements of bowel. Oxetacaine relieves pain and neutralize stomach acid and manage further irritation of the food pipe. Simethicone disintegrates gas bubbles and allows easy passage of gas.
