Introduction
OFLOTAG 100 DT TABLET contains Ofloxacin, which belongs to the group of medicines called Antibiotics. It is used to manage various bacterial infections involving the respiratory system, urinary system (kidneys and bladder), both male and female genital organs (such as gonorrhoea), ears, nose, skin and soft tissues. Bacterial infections are generally characterized by fever, extreme tiredness, swollen lymph nodes in the neck, armpits, groin or elsewhere, headache, nausea or vomiting. Avoid consumption of alcohol while taking OFLOTAG 100 DT TABLET, as it can make you feel dizzy or sleepy. Before recommending OFLOTAG 100 DT TABLET your doctor may advise you to take relevant tests to understand your condition. OFLOTAG 100 DT TABLET is not recommended for use if you have fits or ever had swollen tendons. Before taking OFLOTAG 100 DT TABLET, inform your doctor if you have liver, kidney, heart, mental health problems, myasthenia gravis or diabetes. How It Works
OFLOTAG 100 DT TABLET works by binding to and inhibiting bacterial enzymes required in DNA synthesis, thus interrupting DNA replication and managing bacterial cell multiplication.
Directions for Use
Take OFLOTAG 100 DT TABLET as advised by your physician. Swallow the medicine with a glass of water. Do not crush or chew the medicine. Your doctor will decide the correct dose and duration for you depending upon your age, body weight and disease condition. Do not stop taking OFLOTAG 100 DT TABLET unless your doctor advises you to stop.
Side Effects

KIDNEYOFLOTAG 100 DT TABLET should be taken with caution in patients with kidney disease. Consult your doctor before taking it. LIVEROFLOTAG 100 DT TABLET should be taken with caution in patients with liver disease. Consult your doctor before taking it. ALLERGYDo not take OFLOTAG 100 DT TABLET if you are allergic to Ofloxacin or any other ingredients in this medicine or previously had an allergic reaction to any quinolone antibiotic. HEART DISEASEOFLOTAG 100 DT TABLET should be used with caution in patients with heart disease or problems with a heartbeat, aortic aneurism (an enlarged or bulged large blood vessel), aortic dissection (tear in the aortic wall) or family history of it, vascular Ehlers-Danlos syndrome, vascular disorders like Takayasu arteritis, giant cell arteritis, Behcet’s disease, high blood pressure, atherosclerosis, endocarditis, prolonged QT interval, very slow heart rhythm, a weak heart or a history of a heart attack.
