Introduction

ODIMONT 10MG TABLET contains Montelukast which belongs to the group of medicines called Leukotriene Receptor Antagonists. It is used to manage the signs and symptoms of asthma and seasonal allergic rhinitis in adults and in adolescents (aged 15 years or older). Directions for Use

Therefore, it should be used in breastfeeding women only if considered necessary by the physician. DRIVING AND USING MACHINESODIMONT 10MG TABLET usually does not affect your ability to drive or operate any machinery. However, do not drive or handle any heavy tools or machines if you feel dizzy or drowsy after taking ODIMONT 10MG TABLET. ALLERGYDo not take ODIMONT 10MG TABLET if you are allergic to Montelukast. OTHERSODIMONT 10MG TABLET is not recommended for use if you: have an asthma attack Use in paediatrics: ODIMONT 10MG TABLET is not recommended for use in children and adolescents (aged below 15 years). Drug Interactions

SA. Drug - Drug interactions: Before taking ODIMONT 10MG TABLET, inform your doctor if you are taking any of the following medicines such as: medicines used to manage fits (Ex. phenobarbital, phenytoin) rifampicin (a medicine used to manage tuberculosis) medicines used to relieve fever, pain and inflammation (Ex. aspirin, ibuprofen) gemfibrozil (a medicine used to control blood cholesterol levels) Overdosage: If you or anyone else accidentally took more ODIMONT 10MG TABLET, consult your doctor immediately or visit the nearby hospital. Symptoms of overdose might include stomach pain, sleepiness, thirst, headache, vomiting and hyperactivity.
