INTRODUCTION ABOUT NUCOXIA D3 CAPSULENUCOXIA D3 CAPSULE is a combination of Etoricoxib and Vitamin D3 which belongs to the group of medicines called NSAIDs (Non-Steroidal Anti-Inflammatory Drugs) and Vitamin D analogues respectively. NUCOXIA D3 CAPSULE is used to manage rheumatoid arthritis and osteoarthritis and to reduce pain. Rheumatoid arthritis is a medical condition characterized by inflammation in the joints, whereas osteoarthritis is characterized by degeneration of articular cartilage between joints. NUCOXIA D3 CAPSULE is not recommended for use in patients with active stomach ulcer or bleeding in your stomach or intestines, hypercalcaemia or hypercalciuria, high levels of vitamin D in blood, inflammatory bowel disease, Crohn’s disease, ulcerative colitis or colitis, high blood pressure, stroke (including mini-stroke, transient ischemic attack or TIA). NUCOXIA D3 CAPSULE helps to reduce inflammation in rheumatoid arthritis, osteoarthritis, where etoricoxib works by inhibiting the naturally occurring chemical (Cox-2) in the body which manages the production of prostaglandins and results in decreasing inflammation, swelling and pain. Vitamin D3 works by binding and activating vitamin D receptors, which plays a crucial role in intestinal calcium absorption by stimulating protein expressions.

Directions for Use

Always take NUCOXIA D3 CAPSULE as directed by your physician. Take this medicine with or without food, swallow the medicine as a whole and do not crush or chew the medicine. Do not stop taking NUCOXIA D3 CAPSULE without informing your doctor.

NUCOXIA D3 CAPSULE are pain, swelling of legs and feet due to fluid retention (oedema), dizziness, headache, palpitations (irregular heartbeat), increased blood pressure, wheezing or shortness of breath (bronchospasm), constipation, gastritis (inflammation of the lining of the stomach), heartburn, diarrhoea, indigestion, vomiting, nausea, bruising, stomach pain, weakness and fatigue etc. Consult your doctor if any of the symptoms worsen. ALLERGYDo not take NUCOXIA D3 CAPSULE if you are allergic to etoricoxib, non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs), including acetylsalicylic acid (aspirin) and COX-2 inhibitors, azorubine, carmoisine or any other ingredients of this medicine. Consult your doctor before taking it. HEART DISEASENUCOXIA D3 CAPSULE is not recommended in patients with heart problems including heart failure (moderate or severe types), angina (chest pain), heart attack, bypass surgery or peripheral arterial disease (poor circulation in legs or feet due to narrow or blocked arteries). NUCOXIA D3 CAPSULE should be used with caution in patients with a history of heart failure or any other form of heart disease or narrowing of the arteries.
