Introduction
INTRODUCTIONNOZIA contains Ramosetron which belongs to the group of medicines called 5-HT3 (Serotonin) receptor antagonists. It is used to prevent and manage nausea and vomiting associated with chemotherapy or surgical procedure in adults. Before receiving NOZIA inform your doctor if you have any problems with liver, kidney or heart and any other medical conditions. NOZIA is not recommended for use in pregnant and breast-feeding women. How It Works
NOZIA effectively prevents nausea and vomiting by blocking the serotonin 5-HT3 receptor present in the gastrointestinal mucosa.
Directions for Use
NOZIA will be given to you only by a doctor or a nurse into a vein as an intravenous infusion. Your doctor will determine the appropriate dose and duration for you depending on your age, body weight and medical condition.
