Introduction
NORMABRAIN 800MG TABLET contains Piracetam which belongs to the group of medicines known as Nootropics. It is used in the management of myoclonus of cortical origin in combination with other anti-myoclonic therapies. Myoclonus is a sudden, involuntary muscle jerk, shake or spasm that may be caused due to disturbance in the brain and nervous system. Before taking NORMABRAIN 800MG TABLET, inform your doctor if you have severe kidney disease and liver problems. Avoid consumption of alcohol during management with this medicine. NORMABRAIN 800MG TABLET is not recommended for use in pregnant and breast-feeding women unless advised by the doctor. NORMABRAIN 800MG TABLET is a derivative of the neurotransmitter γ-aminobutyric acid (GABA) which improves membrane stability and fluidity in brain thereby restoring the neurotransmission via glutamatergic and cholinergic (ACh) receptors resulting in controlled movements.
Directions for Use
Take NORMABRAIN 800MG TABLET as advised by your physician. Swallow the medicine with a glass of water. Do not crush or chew the medicine. Your doctor will decide the correct dose and duration of NORMABRAIN 800MG TABLET for you depending upon your age, body weight and disease condition.

Drug Interactions
SA. Drug-Drug interactions: Before taking NORMABRAIN 800MG TABLET, inform your doctor if you are taking any of the following medicines: thyroid extract or thyroxine (medicine used to manage hypothyroidism) anticoagulants such as warfarin or aceno-coumarol (medicine used to manage clotting of blood) low dose aspirin (medicine used as a pain killer) any other medicines including medicines obtained without a prescription Overdosage: If you or anyone else accidentally takes too much of NORMABRAIN 800MG TABLET, consult your doctor immediately or visit the nearby hospital. Overdose may result in bloody diarrhoea with abdominal pain.
