INTRODUCTION ABOUT NOOTROPIL 200MG INJECTIONNOOTROPIL 200MG INJECTION contains Piracetam which belongs to the group of medicines known as Nootropics. It is used in the management of myoclonus of cortical origin in combination with other anti-myoclonic therapies. Myoclonus is a sudden, involuntary muscle jerk, shake or spasm that may be caused due to disturbance in the brain and nervous system. Before receiving NOOTROPIL 200MG INJECTION, inform your doctor if you have severe kidney disease, liver problems, gastrointestinal ulcer, history of cerebral hemorrhage, severe bleeding and are undergoing any major surgery including dental surgery. NOOTROPIL 200MG INJECTION is not recommended for use in pregnant and breast-feeding women unless advised by the doctor. NOOTROPIL 200MG INJECTION is a derivative of the neurotransmitter γ-aminobutyric acid (GABA) which improves membrane stability and fluidity in brain thereby restoring the neurotransmission via glutamatergic and cholinergic (ACh) receptors resulting in controlled movements.

Directions for Use

NOOTROPIL 200MG INJECTION should be only given by a doctor or a nurse. It should be given either intravenously (in the vein) or intramuscularly (in the muscle). Your doctor will decide the correct dose and duration of NOOTROPIL 200MG INJECTION for you depending upon your age, body weight and disease condition.

Drug Interactions

Drug-Drug interactions: Before receiving NOOTROPIL 200MG INJECTION, inform your doctor if you are taking any of the following medicines: thyroid hormones (medicine used to manage hypothyroidism) anticoagulants such as aceno-coumarol (medicine used to manage clotting of blood) carbamazepine, phenytoin, phenobarbitone, valproate (medicine used to control fits or seizures) Overdosage: NOOTROPIL 200MG INJECTION will be administered to you only by a doctor or a nurse in a hospital, and so it is unlikely to receive an overdose. However, consult your doctor if you experience any unusual symptoms such as bloody diarrhea with abdominal pain.
