It contains Neomycin, Bacitracin and Sulphacetamide as active ingredients that works by inactivating the susceptible bacteria that cause skin infections. Neosporin Antibiotic Powder is for external use only. Wash the infected area thoroughly and pat it dry. Dust a thin layer of Neosporin Antibiotic Powder evenly to the affected areas two or three times daily or as directed by your physician. Avoid contact of this powder with eyes or mouth, if happens rinse it thoroughly with water. Continue to apply this medicine, as long as your doctor tells you to do so, to obtain better results.
