Introduction

NEMDAA 5MG TABLET contains Memantine which belongs to the group of medicines called Anti-dementia drugs. It is used to manage moderate to severe Alzheimer’s disease. Alzheimer’s disease is a neurodegenerative disease that destroys memory and other important mental functions in an individual. It is caused due to formation and accumulation of certain toxic proteins in the brain that destroys brain cells. It can be characterized by loss of memory and forgetfulness of day-to-day activities. How It Works

NEMDAA 5MG TABLET is a NMDA receptor antagonist. It acts by blocking the over activation of certain chemicals (glutamate and beta-amyloid peptide) within the brain that causes Alzheimer’s disease. It can also block the activity of other chemical messengers (like serotonin and acetylcholine) that affects thoughts, memory and mental state. As a result, it improves memory and stabilizes mental health.

Directions for Use

Take NEMDAA 5MG TABLET as advised by your doctor. It can be taken with or without meals. Swallow the medicine with a glass of water. Do not crush or chew the medicine. Try to take the medicine at the same time each day. Your doctor will decide the correct dose and duration of therapy for you depending upon your age, body weight and disease condition.
