Introduction
NAFODIL 75MG TABLET contains Naftopidil, which belongs to a group of medicines called Alpha-1 adrenoreceptor antagonist. It is used in men for the management of dysuria (painful urination) associated with benign prostatic hyperplasia. An enlarged prostate gland can lead to uncomfortable urinary symptoms, such as blocking the flow of urine out of the bladder, urinary tract infections or kidney problems. NAFODIL 75MG TABLET is not recommended for use in women, patients with orthostatic hypotension (low blood pressure on standing up) or salt imbalance. NAFODIL 75MG TABLET reduces the prostate pressure and obstruction in the bladder hence causing relaxation of the smooth muscle in and around the prostate, which improves urine flow in patients with benign prostatic hyperplasia.
Directions for Use
Take NAFODIL 75MG TABLET as advised by your physician. Swallow NAFODIL 75MG TABLET with a glass of water and do not chew or crush the medicine. Your doctor will decide the correct dose and duration for you depending upon your age, body weight.
