INTRODUCTION ABOUT MYOSONE PLUSMYOSONE PLUS is a combination of Eperisone and Paracetamol which belongs to the group of medicines called Muscle relaxants and Analgesics respectively. It is used to manage pain due to muscle spasm. Avoid consumption of alcohol while taking this medicine as it may severely damage the liver. MYOSONE PLUS should be used with caution in patients with asthma, liver disease or disorder and kidney disease. MYOSONE PLUS should be used with caution in pregnant women unless advised by the doctor and it is not recommended for use in breastfeeding women. MYOSONE PLUS is not recommended for use in children due to lack of safety data and it should be used with caution in elderly patients (aged 65 years and above). The most common

How It Works
MYOSONE PLUS helps to manage pain due to muscle spasm, where eperisone works by acting on the centres in the brain and spinal cord. It also dilates vascular smooth muscles improving blood flow and relieves muscle spasm. Paracetamol works by increasing the pain threshold by inhibiting COX-1 and COX-2 enzymes.
Directions for Use
Take MYOSONE PLUS as advised by your physician. Swallow MYOSONE PLUS with a glass of water. Do not crush or chew the medicine. Your doctor will decide the correct dose and duration for you depending upon your age, body weight and disease condition. Do not stop taking MYOSONE PLUS without informing your doctor.

Drug-Drug interactions: Before taking MYOSONE PLUS inform your doctor if you are taking any of the following medicines: methocarbamol (used to manage muscle spasm) probenecid (used to manage gout) salicylamide (used to manage fever and pain) lamotrigine, phenytoin (used to manage epilepsy) barbiturates such as pentobarbital, phenobarbital or carbamazepine (medicines used to manage mental disorders and epilepsy) chloramphenicol, rifampicin, isoniazid (medicines used to manage bacterial infections) St. john’s wort (used to manage depression) medicines that delay emptying of stomach (Ex. dicyclomine) anticoagulants Ex. warfarin (medicines used to manage or manage blood clots) medicines used for nausea and vomiting (Ex. metoclopramide, domperidone) cholestyramine (medicines used to lower high cholesterol levels) imatinib (medicine used to manage leukaemia and some stomach tumours) Overdosage: If you or anyone else accidentally take too much of MYOSONE PLUS, consult your doctor immediately or visit the nearby hospital.
