Introduction
INTRODUCTIONMUPIWAYS contains Mupirocin an antibiotic, which is used to kill bacterial skin infections such as impetigo, folliculitis and boils which work by stopping the growth of certain bacteria. Mupirocin which belongs to antibiotics produced through fermentation of Pseudomonas fluorescens which inhibits bacterial protein synthesis by binding to bacterial isoleucyl t-RNA synthetase. It has bacteriostatic property at minimum inhibitory concentrations and bactericidal properties at the higher concentrations reached when applied locally.
