INTRODUCTION ABOUT MOXIGRAM EYE OINTMENTMOXIGRAM EYE OINTMENT contains Moxifloxacin which belongs to the group of medicines called Antibiotics. It is used for the management of bacterial conjunctivitis. Bacterial conjunctivitis is the infection of the transparent membrane (conjunctiva) that lines the eyelid and covers the white part of your eyeball. Symptoms of bacterial conjunctivitis include pain, discomfort, redness, itching, irritation, and watery eyes. Patients should be advised not to wear contact lenses if they have signs and symptoms of bacterial conjunctivitis. MOXIGRAM EYE OINTMENT should be used with caution in pregnant women or if you think you may be pregnant and in breastfeeding woman. Consult your doctor before using. MOXIGRAM EYE OINTMENT works by inhibiting the bacterial enzymes DNA gyrase and topoisomerase IV which are required for DNA replication and transcription resulting in cell death. This manages the bacterial cells from dividing and repairing and destroys them.

Directions for Use

Apply MOXIGRAM EYE OINTMENT as advised by your physician. It is for topical ophthalmic use only. Your doctor will prescribe the right dose depends on your age, body weight and severity of the infection.
