INTRODUCTION ABOUT MONODEXA EYE DROPSMONODEXA EYE DROPS contains Dexamethasone which belongs to the group of medicines called Corticosteroids. It is used to manage eye/ear inflammation. It also helps in reducing pain, redness, itching and burning sensation in the eyes or ears caused due to allergic or hypersensitivity reactions. How It Works
MONODEXA EYE DROPS is a steroid medication. It blocks the release of certain chemicals in the body (such as prostaglandins) that causes inflammation, redness and swelling. When applied topically on the eyes/ears, it reduces redness, soreness, pain, itching and swelling.
Directions for Use
Use MONODEXA EYE DROPS as advised by your physician. It is for topical use only. For Eyes: Tilt your head slightly backwards and gently pull your lower eyelid. Instil few drops of this medicine into the eyes and close your eyes for 2 minutes. Repeat the same for the other eye if required. If you wear soft contact lenses, remove the lens before applying MONODEXA EYE DROPS and wait for at least 15 minutes before reinsertion. Leave a time gap of 5 minutes before applying any other medicines in the eyes. For Ears: Gently instil few drops of this medicine into the ears. Repeat the same for the other ear if required. Wash your hands before and after application. Do not touch the tip of the container with your eyes, eyelids, areas around your eyes, outer surface of the ears or fingers, to avoid contamination. Your doctor will decide the correct dose and duration of therapy for you depending upon your age, body weight and health condition. If there is no improvement in your condition even after using this medicine for 7 days, consult your doctor for advice.
