Before using MILFLOX DF EYE DROPS inform your doctor if you have severe viral or fungal eye infections. You must also inform your doctor if you have glaucoma or any holes or ulcerations in the eyes as a precaution. Do not use MILFLOX DF EYE DROPS without consulting your doctor if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. The most common side effects of using MILFLOX DF EYE DROPS are mild eye irritation, eye dryness and itchiness, increased eye pressure, headache and taste changes. Consult your doctor if any of these side effect worsens. USES OF MILFLOX DF EYE DROPS MILFLOX DF EYE DROPS is used in the management of Eye pain, inflammation, infections, itching, redness and swelling Used to minimise the risk of eye infections and inflammation post eye surgery HOW MILFLOX DF EYE DROPS WORKSMILFLOX DF EYE DROPS contains two medicines namely, Difluprednate and Moxifloxacin. Difluprednate is a steroid medicine which suppresses the release of certain inflammatory mediators within the body that causes eye inflammation, pain and swelling. Moxifloxacin is an antibiotic medicine used to kill the susceptible microorganisms that causes eye infections. Together, they both help in the management of eye infection, inflammation and pain. DIRECTIONS FOR USEUse MILFLOX DF EYE DROPS as advised by your physician. It is for ophthalmic use only. Tilt your head slightly backwards and gently pull your lower eyelid. Instil few drops of this medicine into the eyes and close your eyes for 2 minutes. Repeat the same for the other eye if required. If you wear soft contact lenses, remove the lens before applying MILFLOX DF EYE DROPS and wait for at least 15 minutes before reinsertion. Wash your hands before and after application. Do not touch the tip of the container with your eyes, eyelids, areas around your eyes, outer surface of the ears or fingers, to avoid contamination. Leave a time gap of at least 5 minutes between this medicine and other eye medicines. Your doctor will decide the correct dose and duration of therapy for you depending upon your age, body weight and health condition. If there is no improvement in your condition even after using this medicine for 7 days, consult your doctor for advice.
