INTRODUCTION ABOUT METROGYL 2% GELMETROGYL 2% GEL contains Metronidazole which belongs to the group of medicines called Antiprotozoal drugs. It helps to control infection and inflammation in certain skin problems, such as rosacea (skin redness and flushing with or without small red pus-filled pustules on the skin) and acne. It is also helpful in the management of wound infections, diabetic foot ulcers and vaginal infections. METROGYL 2% GEL is for external use only. Cleanse and dry the affected areas before applying the medicine. Do not expose the managed areas in direct sunlight. Wear protective clothing and consult your doctor for a suitable sunscreen while going outdoors. Before using METROGYL 2% GEL, inform your doctor if you are suffering from any kind of blood disorders (Ex. blood dyscrasias) or neurological disorders (such as nerve damage).
