Introduction
METHIMERCAZOLE 10MG TABLET contains Methimazole which belongs to the group of medicines called Antithyroid Agents. It is used to manage overactive thyroid gland (hyperthyroidism) in adults. It is also used to prepare for thyroidectomy (removal of the thyroid gland). METHIMERCAZOLE 10MG TABLET is not recommended if you have history of acute pancreatitis (severe abdominal pain).
