MELGAIN LOTION contains decapeptide which is a re-pigmenting agent. Upon topical application, it induces migration of melanocytes to the affected skin areas. Melanocytes are the skin cells which are responsible for forming melanin pigments (dark pigments) on the skin. By doing so, MELGAIN LOTION helps in correcting skin discoloration caused due to vitiligo.
Directions for Use
Apply MELGAIN LOTION as advised by your physician. It is for topical use only. Clean and dry the affected skin areas. Gently apply a thin layer of the medicine over the affected skin areas. It is preferable to apply this medicine 2 hours before going to bed, followed by exposing the treated skin areas to sunlight for 10-15 mins in the morning. Your doctor will decide the correct dose and duration of the therapy based on your age, body weight and health condition. Do not stop using MELGAIN LOTION without consulting your doctor.
