Melgain Lotion 5ml

MELGAIN LOTION is used in the management of Vitiligo. It contains a medicine called Decapeptide which is a gonadotrophin releasing hormone that works as re-pigmenting agent on the skin.

Apply MELGAIN LOTION as advised by your physician. It is for topical use only. Clean and dry the affected skin areas. Gently apply a thin layer of the medicine over the affected skin areas. It is preferable to apply this medicine 2 hours before going to bed, followed by exposing the treated skin areas to sunlight for 10-15 mins in the morning.

The results from using a decapeptide solution can vary depending on the specific product, concentration, and your skin type. Generally, you might start noticing some improvements in skin texture and tone within 2 to 4 weeks of regular use. However, for more significant results like reduced wrinkles or improved skin firmness, it may take 8 to 12 weeks of consistent application. For the best outcome, it's important to follow the product’s instructions and maintain a consistent skincare routine.

MELGAIN LOTION contains decapeptide which is a re-pigmenting agent. Upon topical application, it induces migration of melanocytes to the affected skin areas. Melanocytes are the skin cells which are responsible for forming melanin pigments (dark pigments) on the skin. By doing so, MELGAIN LOTION helps in correcting skin discoloration caused due to vitiligo.

MELGAIN LOTION is safe when prescribed and used under medical supervision. Studies have shown that decapeptide solution is generally well tolerated with very limited side effects. Rarely, it may cause mild skin redness or itching at the application site.

Use MELGAIN LOTION for as long as your doctor prescribed it. Do not stop using MELGAIN LOTION without consulting your doctor.

There is limited evidence regarding the use of Decapeptide solution/lotion in pregnant women. Therefore, consult your doctor before using it.
