INTRODUCTION ABOUT MEDOMOL INJECTIONMEDOMOL INJECTION contains Paracetamol which belongs to the group of medicines called Analgesics and Antipyretics. It is used for short-term management of moderate pain (especially after surgery) and fever when administered by the intravenous route is clinically justified. Before receiving MEDOMOL INJECTION, inform your doctor if you have heart, lung, liver or kidney problems or if you suffer from alcoholism or alcohol abuse, malnourishment and severely low blood volume due to dehydration or blood loss. How It Works
MEDOMOL INJECTION relieves pain by increasing the pain threshold by inhibiting certain enzymes (COX-1 and COX-2) involved in the synthesis of chemicals responsible for inducing pain (prostaglandins). It reduces fever by directly acting on heat-regulating centers in the brain, resulting in vessel relaxation, sweating and loss of body heat.
Directions for Use
MEDOMOL INJECTION will be given to you only by a doctor or a nurse into the vein as an intravenous infusion. Your doctor will decide the correct dose and duration for you based on your age, body weight and disease condition.

Drug-Drug interactions: Before receiving MEDOMOL INJECTION, inform your doctor if you are taking any of the following medicines: other medicines containing paracetamol or propacetamol probenecid (used to manage gout) medicines used for blood thinning (Ex. warfarin) Overdosage: MEDOMOL INJECTION will be administered to you only by a doctor or a nurse in a hospital and so it is unlikely to receive an overdose. However, consult your doctor if you experience any unusual symptoms such as nausea, vomiting, anorexia (eating disorder), paleness, stomach pain and a risk of liver injury.
