MASTIFEN SYRUP works by blocking histamine (a substance in the body that causes allergic symptoms) and stops the release of mediators from cells involved in hypersensitivity reaction.
Directions for Use
Take MASTIFEN SYRUP as advised by your physician. Shake well before use. Your doctor will decide the correct dose and duration for you depending upon your age, body weight and disease condition.

ALLERGYDo not take MASTIFEN SYRUP if you are allergic to Ketotifen or any other ingredients of this medicine OTHERSMASTIFEN SYRUP is not recommended for use if you: have epilepsy Before taking MASTIFEN SYRUP, inform your doctor if you: have an intolerance to some sugars diabetes history of epilepsy Use in pediatrics: Your doctor will decide the correct dose and duration for you depending upon your age, body weight and disease condition. Drug Interactions
SA. Drug - Drug interactions: Before taking MASTIFEN SYRUP, inform your doctor if you are taking any of the following medicine: oral medicines for diabetes (Ex. biguanides, metformin) for asthma (Ex. budesonide, beclomethasone) to manage sleeplessness, anxiety, depression (Ex. diazepam, lorazepam) antihistamines to manage allergic reactions (Ex. brompheniramine, azelastine) anticoagulants (Ex. warfarin) Overdosage: If you or anyone else accidentally takes too much of MASTIFEN SYRUP, consult your doctor immediately or visit the nearby hospital. Symptoms of overdosage are blurred vision, confusion, convulsions, disorientation, dizziness, drowsiness (severe), faintness or lightheadedness when getting up from a lying or sitting position, fast, pounding, or irregular heartbeat or pulse, hyperexcitability, loss of consciousness, palpitations, sweating, unusual tiredness or weakness.
