Introduction

LOVAX 600 TABLET is used to manage partial seizures in adults with epilepsy as monotherapy or adjunctive therapy. It contains Oxcarbazepine which belongs to the group of medicines called Anti-epileptics. Prior to management with the medicine, your doctor may want you to take several blood tests to understand existing condition and to safely use the medicine and to decide the appropriate dose of this medicine. Before taking, inform your doctor if you have liver, kidney or heart problems or intolerance to certain sugars (such as lactose). Drug-Drug interactions: Before taking LOVAX 600 TABLET, inform your doctor if you are taking any of the following medicines: Antiepileptics fits (Ex. phenobarbital, phenytoin, carbamazepine, lamotrigine and valproic acid) Hormonal medicines (Ex. ethinyl estradiol, desogestrel) Antidepressants (Ex. lithium, phenelzine and moclobemide) Diuretics (Ex. furosemide, spironolactone) Antidiuretic hormones (Ex. desmopressin) Non-steroidal anti-inflammatory agents (Ex. indomethacin, ibuprofen) Immunosuppressants (Ex. ciclosporin, tacrolimus) Antibiotics (Ex. rifampicin) Overdosage: If you or anyone else accidentally takes too much of LOVAX 600 TABLET, consult your doctor immediately or visit the nearby hospital.
