INTRODUCTION ABOUT LOTEMP DROPSLotemp Drops is an Analgesic/Antipyretic medicine used in children to manage fever and pain associated with common childhood disorders, upper respiratory tract infection, sore throat, post-immunization reactions, post operative fever, and/or other conditions. It can also be used to manage convulsions due to high fever, headache, cold, sinusitis, muscle pain, toothache, and arthritis. It can be used in specific therapies along with other medicines. It contains Paracetamol as an active ingredient that helps in lowering pain as well as fever. Paracetamol exhibits the pain diminishing action by inhibiting various pathways that are involved in activating the pain mechanism and by the suppressing the synthesis of pain causing chemicals at the affected site. It lowers the body temperature by directly acting on the heat-regulating centres present in the brain, causing sweating, resulting loss of heat from the body. Administer 6 to 8 drops of Lotemp Drops after every 6 hours to infants (3 months to one year), administer 10 to 15 drops of this medicine after every 6 hours to children (1 year to 3 years), administer 15 to 20 drops of Lotemp Drops after every 6 hours to children (3 years to 5 years) or as advised by your doctor. Do not exceed the recommended dosage of the medicine. Shake well before use. It is for oral use only. KEY COMPOSITION Paracetamol
