INTRODUCTION ABOUT LOTEFAST OPHTHALMIC SUSPENSIONLOTEFAST OPHTHALMIC SUSPENSION contains Loteprednol which belongs to the group of medicines called Corticosteroids. It is used to manage post-operative inflammation and pain following eye surgery Before using LOTEFAST OPHTHALMIC SUSPENSION inform your doctor if you have glaucoma, any eye infection, or recently had cataract surgery. LOTEFAST OPHTHALMIC SUSPENSION should be used with caution in pregnant women only if advised by the doctor. LOTEFAST OPHTHALMIC SUSPENSION should be used with caution among breastfeeding mothers. How It Works

LOTEFAST OPHTHALMIC SUSPENSION reduces inflammation in the eye by inhibiting the inflammatory response (called prostaglandins) and various processes associated with inflammation and it probably delays or slows healing.

Directions for Use

Use LOTEFAST OPHTHALMIC SUSPENSION as advised by your doctor. It is for ophthalmic use only. Before using, wash your hands properly. Invert closed container and shake once to fill tip before instilling the medicine. Apply one to two drops of LOTEFAST OPHTHALMIC SUSPENSION into the conjunctival sac of the affected eye for the time and duration specified by your doctor (preferably four times daily starting the day after surgery and continuing throughout the first 2 weeks of the post-operative period). Your doctor will decide the correct dose and time interval for you depending upon your age, body weight and severity of the condition.

Side Effects
