INTRODUCTION ABOUT LIPIKIND AS 20 CAPSULELIPIKIND AS 20 Capsule is used for the management of dyslipidemia associated with atherosclerotic arterial disease with risk of myocardial infarction, stroke or peripheral vascular disease. It is a combination of Atorvastatin and Aspirin which belongs to the group of medicines known as Statins and Non-steroid anti-inflammatory agents respectively. LIPIKIND AS 20 Capsule works by blocking an enzyme required in the body to make cholesterol. It lowers the bad cholesterol (LDL), and triglycerides and raises the good cholesterol (HDL) and also decreases the formation of harmful blood clots. LIPIKIND AS 20 CAPSULE is not recommended for use in patients hypoprothrombinaemia, haemophilia and active peptic ulceration. It should be used with caution in patients with rhabdomyolysis, hypothyroidism, hereditary muscular disorders or muscular toxicity with a statin or fibrate. LIPIKIND AS 20 CAPSULE is generally not recommended for use in pregnant women. Contact your doctor before taking. How It Works
LIPIKIND AS 20 CAPSULE is a combination of Atorvastatin and Aspirin. Atorvastatin is a lipid-lowering agents blocks an enzyme required in the body to make cholesterol. It lowers the bad cholesterol (LDL), and triglycerides and raises the good cholesterol (HDL). Aspirin is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory agent (NSAID) with anti-platelet action. It helps to manage the platelets from sticking together and decreases the formation of harmful blood clots.
Directions for Use
Take LIPIKIND AS 20 CAPSULE as advised by your physician. It can be taken with or without food. Swallow LIPIKIND AS 20 CAPSULE with a glass of water. Do not crush or chew the medicine.
