Introduction

INTRODUCTION ABOUT LEVOLIN 1.25MG RESPULELEVOLIN 1.25MG RESPULE contains Levosalbutamol which belongs to the group of medicines called Bronchodilators. It is indicated in the management or management of bronchospasm (constriction of airways) in adults, adolescents, and children between 6-11 years old with reversible obstructive airway disease. Your doctor might ask you to take several diagnostic tests before starting the management with LEVOLIN 1.25MG RESPULE. It should be used with caution in patients having cardiovascular disorders (coronary insufficiency, cardiac arrhythmias, and high blood pressure), kidney diseases, epilepsy, overactive thyroid gland, and diabetes. Caution must be exercised while using LEVOLIN 1.25MG RESPULE in pregnant and breast-feeding women. Consult with your doctor before using. How It Works

LEVOLIN 1.25MG RESPULE helps in the management of bronchospasm acts by relaxing smooth muscle in the bronchial tubes (airway) to increase air flow and relieve shortness of breath by activation of an enzyme which inhibits the release of cells called mast cells which are responsible for causing asthma.

Directions for Use

Use LEVOLIN 1.25MG RESPULE as advised by your physician. It is for oral inhalational use only. It is administered by nebulisation using with nebuliser (with a face mask or mouthpiece) which is connected to an air compressor. Your doctor will guide on how to use the nebuliser. Do not exceed the recommended dose of LEVOLIN 1.25MG RESPULE. Check the label for directions before use. Your doctor will decide the correct dose and duration of LEVOLIN 1.25MG RESPULE for you depending upon your age, body weight and disease condition.

ALLERGYDo not use LEVOLIN 1.25MG RESPULE if you are allergic to Levosalbutamol or any other ingredients of this medicine. HEART DISEASELEVOLIN 1.25MG RESPULE should be used with caution in patients with heart diseases such as coronary insufficiency, irregular heartbeat, and high blood pressure. OTHERSBefore using LEVOLIN 1.25MG RESPULE tell your doctor if you have: epilepsy thyroid problems diabetes Use in pediatrics: LEVOLIN 1.25MG RESPULE has not been shown to be safe and effective in children younger than 6 years of age. Drug Interactions

SA. Drug–Drug Interactions: Before using LEVOLIN 1.25MG RESPULE inform your doctor if you are taking any of the following medicine: other short acting bronchodilators such as albuterol, terbutaline (used to manage asthma) beta blockers such as metoprolol, propranolol (used to manage irregular heartbeat) digoxin (used to manage heart diseases) diuretics (water medicines) such as furosemide, chlorothiazide isocarboxazid, tricyclic antidepressants such as nortriptyline, amitriptyline (used to manage depression) halothane, enflurane, isoflurane, desflurane, sevoflurane (used as anaesthetics) corticosteroids (anti-inflammatory drug Ex. dexamethasone, hydrocortisone) Overdosage: If you or anyone else accidentally use too much of LEVOLIN 1.25MG RESPULE, consult your doctor immediately or visit the nearby hospital. The symptoms of overdosage of LEVOLIN 1.25MG RESPULE are fastened heart rate, nervousness, headache, tremor, dry mouth, palpitation, nausea, dizziness, fatigue, and sleeplessness.
