INTRODUCTION ABOUT LEEKUF JUNIOR SYRUPLEEKUF JUNIOR SYRUP contains Bromhexine, Dextromethorphan, Phenylephrine which belongs to the group of medicines called Mucolytics, Antitussives, Nasal decongestants respectively. It is used to relieve dry cough, blocked nose, sinus congestion caused by the common cold, hay fever, flu or other allergic conditions. LEEKUF JUNIOR SYRUP is not recommended for use in patients with severe lung disease, heart diseases, high blood pressure, diabetes, prostate problems, glaucoma (increased pressure in the eye). Consult your doctor before taking it. LEEKUF JUNIOR SYRUP should be used with caution in patients with liver, kidney disease, stomach ulcers. Consult your doctor before taking it. How It Works
LEEKUF JUNIOR SYRUP contains bromhexine, dextromethorphan, phenylephrine. Bromhexine is a mucolytic agent which thins and breaks the phlegm, making it easier to cough out. Dextromethorphan is a cough suppressant which relieves cough by acting on the cough centre in the brain. Phenylephrine is a nasal decongestant works by reducing swelling of the blood vessel in nasal passages, thus makes it easier to breathe. Thus, combination of bromhexine, dextromethorphan, phenylephrine helps to relieve the symptoms like dry cough, blocked nose and sinus congestion.
Directions for Use
Take LEEKUF JUNIOR SYRUP as advised by your physician. Shake well before use. Your doctor will decide the correct dose and duration for you depending upon your age, body weight and disease condition.

Drug-Drug interactions: Before taking LEEKUF JUNIOR SYRUP, inform your doctor if you are taking any of the following medicine: medicines used to manage infections (Ex. ampicillin, amoxicillin, erythromycin or oxytetracycline) medicines used to manage depression and anxiety (Ex. bupropion, selegiline, isocarboxazid, fluoxetine, amitriptyline, paroxetine and sertraline) antipsychotics (medicines used to manage mood disorders) (Ex. haloperidol, thioridazine, perphenazine) medicines used to manage heart failure, chest pain, irregular heart beat (Ex. digoxin, glyceryl trinitrate, atenolol, amiodarone, propafenone, quinidine and flecainide) cinacalcet (used to manage secondary hyperparathyroidism) terbinafine (used to manage fungal infections) opioid analgesics (medicines used to relieve pain) (Ex. codeine, tramadol, morphine, methadone) antihistamines (used to manage allergic reactions) (Ex. clemastine) antiepileptics (medicines used to manage fits) (Ex. lamotrigine) nasal decongestants (used to manage nasal congestion) (Ex. pseudoephedrine) Overdosage: If you or anyone else accidentally took too more of this medicine, consult your doctor immediately. Other symptoms in case of massive overdose may include coma, severe breathing problems.
