Introduction
INTRODUCTIONLARIAGO contains Chloroquine which belongs to a group of medicines called antimalarials and amebicides. It manages uncomplicated malaria caused by susceptible strains of P. falciparum, P.malariae, P. ovale and P.vivax, prophylaxis of malaria and extraintestinal amebiasis. Chloroquine phosphate is an antimalarial and amebicidal medicine. It does not prevent relapses in patients with vivax or ovale malaria because it is not effective against exoerythrocytic forms of the parasites. Before taking LARIAGO inform your doctor if you have liver, kidney or heart problems, are pregnant or breastfeeding.
