Introduction
KOLQ TABLET is a combination of Caffeine, Diphenhydramine, Paracetamol, and Phenylephrine which belongs to the group of medicines called CNS Stimulants, Antihistamines, Analgesics-Antipyretics, and Nasal Decongestants respectively. It is used to relieve flu and cold symptoms, headache, body ache, extreme weakness, watery eyes, fever, cough, sore throat, sneezing, runny, and congested nose. KOLQ TABLET is not recommended for use in children and adolescents (aged less than 12 years). Before taking KOLQ TABLET, inform your doctor if you have any heart, kidney, liver, heart, thyroid, prostrate, or breathing problems, or if you are taking any medicines for depression. KOLQ TABLET relieves cold and flu symptoms where paracetamol inhibits the release of certain chemical messengers responsible for causing pain and fever, diphenhydramine relieves allergy symptoms like watery eyes, sneezing, and runny nose, phenylephrine narrows the small blood vessels and relieves congestion and stuffy nose, and caffeine enhances the action of paracetamol and decreases drowsiness caused by diphenhydramine.

Take KOLQ TABLET as advised by your physician. Swallow with a glass of water. Do not crush or chew the medicine. Your doctor will decide the correct dose and duration of KOLQ TABLET for you according to your age, body weight and disease condition.

Drug-Drug interactions: Before taking KOLQ TABLET, inform your doctor if you are taking any of the following medicine: cholestyramine (used to reduce blood fat levels) medicines used to manage nausea (Ex. metoclopramide, domperidone) medicines use for blood thinning (Ex. warfarin, psoralen) medicines used to manage high blood pressure and other heart or circulatory problems (Ex. atenolol, methyldopa, trimetaphancamsylate) medicines used to manage depression (Ex. amitriptyline, phenelzine) atropine (used for pupil dilation) medicines used to manage allergies of skin and in cold and cough (Ex. chlorpheniramine, clemastine) flucloxacillin (used to manage infections) B.
