Introduction
INTRODUCTION ABOUT KLMITE CREAMKLMITE CREAM contains Permethrin which belongs to the group of medicines called Anti-parasitic agents. It is indicated for the management of scabies, pediculosis (lice) and crab louse infections. Scabies is a condition that cause itchy skin caused by a tiny burrowing mite called Sarcoptes scabiei. It can cause intense itching in the area where the mite burrows. KLMITE CREAM is not recommended for use in patients who are allergic to chrysanthemums (a flower). KLMITE CREAM should be used with caution in patients having lung diseases and eczema (skin disease). It is not recommended for use in infants below 2 months of age and should be used with caution in children and adolescents below 18 years of age. Consult your doctor before using this medicine. How It Works
KLMITE CREAM helps in managing scabies and head lice by acting on the nerve cells of the disease-causing organism and alters the movements of certain ions (sodium ions) which leads to loss of their function. This causes respiratory failure of the disease-causing organism and hence, their destruction.
Directions for Use
Always apply KLMITE CREAM as directed by your physician. It is for external use only. The medicine should be applied on all the affected areas. Your doctor will give the right dose depends on your age, body weight and disease condition. Wash hands before and after the application of KLMITE CREAM. Avoid applying this medicine around your eyes, including eyelids, nose and mouth.
Side Effects
