Directions for Use

Take KIMET XL 25MG TABLET as advised by your physician. Swallow this medicine with water, do not crush or chew it. Correct dosage and duration of medicine to be taken will be prescribed by your doctor depending upon your age, body weight and disease condition. ALLERGYKIMET XL 25MG TABLET is not recommended for use if you are allergic to S-Metoprolol, other beta blockers like propranolol, atenolol or any of the other ingredients of this medicine. LUNGSKIMET XL 25MG TABLET is not recommended for use in patients having bronchospastic diseases (tightening of airways). Consult your doctor for advice. HEART DISEASEKIMET XL 25MG TABLET is not recommended for use in patients with second- or third-degree heart block, decompensated heart failure, heart rhythm disorder (sinus bradycardia and sick sinus syndrome), cardiogenic shock, severe peripheral arterial circulatory disorder, acute myocardial infarction. Drug - Drug interactions: Before taking KIMET XL 25MG TABLET, inform your doctor if you are taking any of the following medicines: medicines used to manage high blood pressure and heart problems (Ex. reserpine, quinidine, propafene, diltiazem, verapamil, clonidine, digoxin) certain medicines used to manage depression (Ex. selegiline, phenelzine, fluoxetine, paroxetine) Overdosage: If you or anyone else accidentally take too much of KIMET XL 25MG TABLET, consult your doctor immediately or visit the nearby hospital. The symptoms of overdose are severely low blood pressure, breathing problems, nausea or vomiting.
