INTRODUCTION ABOUT KETONATE CREAMKETONATE CREAM is a combination of Beclomethasone, Ketoconazole and Neomycin which belongs to the group of medicines called Corticosteroids, Antifungals and Antibiotics respectively. It is used for the topical management of bacterial and fungal skin infections with associated inflammation. KETONATE CREAM is not recommended for use in patients who allergic to corticosteroids and in patients with skin infections. KETONATE CREAM should be used with caution in patients with kidney disease. KETONATE CREAM should be used with caution in pregnant women. There are limited studies on the use of KETONATE CREAM during breastfeeding. Consult your doctor before using. How It Works
KETONATE CREAM is a combination of Beclomethasone, Ketoconazole, and Neomycin. Ketoconazole is an antifungal which stops the growth of fungi while Neomycin is an antibiotic which stops the growth of bacteria on the skin. Beclomethasone blocks the production of certain chemical messengers (prostaglandins) that make the skin red, swollen and itchy.
Directions for Use
Apply KETONATE CREAM as directed by your physician. It is for external use only. Apply a thin layer of this medicine on the affected area. Rub gently on affected area. Avoid applying this medicine around your eyes, including eyelids.
