Introduction
INTRODUCTION ABOUT KETOFF CREAMKETOFF CREAM is used to manage fungal skin infections. It can be applied on your hands, feet, genital area, trunk, scalp, face and chest. It contains an antifungal agent called Ketoconazole which works by stopping the growth of fungi. Use KETOFF CREAM as advised by your physician. Apply the required amount of the medicine to the affected skin areas. Before applying KETOFF CREAM, inform your doctor if you are using a cream, ointment or lotion that contains a steroid. KETOFF CREAM can be used if you are pregnant or breast-feeding,

How It Works
KETOFF CREAM contains Ketoconazole which works by stopping the growth of fungi. It blocks the production of a substance called ergosterol, which is essential for the fungi's cell membrane. Without ergosterol, the cell membrane becomes weak, causing the fungi to die and the infection to clear up.
Directions for Use
Apply KETOFF CREAM as advised by your physician. It is for external use only. Wash the infected area and dry it well. Apply it to the affected and immediate surrounding area with clean fingers. Unless the affected skin is on your hands, wash your hands with soap and water after using KETOFF CREAM in order to stop you from spreading the infection to other parts of your body or to other people. Keep using KETOFF CREAM until a few days after all symptoms have completely disappeared. This is to manage your symptoms from recurring. Your doctor will decide the correct dose and duration for you depending upon your age, body weight and disease condition. Usually, you will see improvement after 4 weeks but if you don’t, talk to your doctor.
Side Effects

What if I forget to apply KETOFF CREAM?
If you forget to apply KETOFF CREAM, use as per the directions next time you apply it. Do not use the medicine two times to make up for the missed dose.
Can I stop applying KETOFF CREAM?
Do not stop applying KETOFF CREAM without asking your doctor. You will usually see signs of improvement after 4 weeks. If not, talk to your doctor. Continue using the medicine until a few days after all symptoms have completely disappeared. Even after your skin is completely cured, you sometimes have to apply the medicine once weekly or once per 2 weeks to manage your symptoms from coming back.
Can I use other medicines with KETOFF CREAM for my skin condition?
Before using KETOFF CREAM, inform your doctor if you are taking, have taken, or might take any other medicine, including prescription, over the counter or any herbal medicine. If you have been regularly using a lotion or cream, containing a steroid (Ex. betamethasone or hydrocortisone) for your skin condition, you should wait for two weeks before starting management with KETOFF CREAM.
