INTRODUCTION ABOUT IZORB OINTMENTIZORB Ointment is used for the management of chronic exuding wounds such as leg ulcers, pressure ulcers, diabetic ulcers, and infected traumatic and surgical wounds. It contains Cadexomer Iodine, which belongs to a group of medicines called Anti-bacterial agents that work by killing the bacteria, which helps to clean the wound, reduces pain, and speeds up the healing process. With a gloved finger, apply IZORB Ointment to a piece of dry, sterile gauze to cover the entire wound to a depth of 3 mm, then place the gauze on the wound. Place a secondary dressing over the gauze, and then lightly run a finger over the dressing to smooth it out and spread the medicine underneath to the shape of the wound and to a minimum depth of 3 mm.
