Introduction

INTRODUCTIONILEVRO contains Nepafenac which belongs to a group of medicines known as nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs). It is used to prevent and relieve eye pain and inflammation and reduces the risk of macular oedema following cataract surgery on the eye in diabetic patients. Use this medicine exactly as prescribed by your doctor. The dose you use will depend on your age, other medications you are taking and whether you have any kidney or liver problems. How It Works

ILEVRO is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory and analgesic prodrug. After instillation, it penetrates the cornea and is converted by ocular tissue hydrolases to amfenac, a nonsteroidal anti- inflammatory drug. Amfenac inhibit the synthesis of prostaglandins in the iris, ciliary body, and conjunctiva and thus, prevent ocular inflammation and reduce pain.

Directions for Use

Use this medicine according to the dose and frequency as advised by your doctor. It is for external use only. Check the label for directions before use. Only use this medicine for your eyes. Do not swallow or inject.
