INTRODUCTION ABOUT IGOL PLUS POWDERIgol Plus Powder is a laxative used to manage constipation in children and adults. It contains Ispaghula Husk and Nimbu Satva as active ingredients. Ispaghula husk absorbs water and forms a gel-like mass that moves down the digestive system and makes the stools softer by increasing its water content. It also lubricates the intestine and improves the transit of stools. Due to increase in stool bulk, it also increases the tension in the bowel wall which will trigger bowel movements. Take Igol Plus Powder as directed by your doctor. Take one teaspoonful (about 4.7gm) of Igol Plus Powder into a dry glass, add 150ml of cold water and stir. Drink the solution immediately. An additional glass of water is helpful. It should be taken once or twice daily and use for at least 3 consecutive days to obtain benefit or as prescribed by the doctor.
