Introduction
IFIN 500MG TABLET is used to manage fungal infections of the skin, hair and nails. It contains a medicine called Terbinafine which belongs to the group of medicines called Antifungal agents. Take IFIN 500MG TABLET for the stipulated duration as instructed by your doctor to achieve better results. Failing to do so may not result in adequate infection control. Before taking IFIN 500MG TABLET inform your doctor if you have any liver or kidney problems. IFIN 500MG TABLET is an antifungal medication. It effectively controls fungal infections within the body. It disrupts the fungal cell membrane by blocking the production of certain chemicals (ergosterol) within the cell which is required for its survival. As a result, it stops the fungal cell from multiplication, thereby managing the further spread of infection.
Directions for Use
Take IFIN 500MG TABLET as advised by your physician. For Tablet: Swallow it with a glass of water. Do not crush or chew the medicine. But in children younger than 6 years, the medicine should be crushed before swallowing. For Dispersible Tablet: Disperse IFIN 500MG TABLET in the specified quantity of water as advised by your doctor. Consume the mixture immediately after reconstitution. Dose and duration will be decided by your doctor depending upon your age, body weight and disease condition.
