INTRODUCTION ABOUT HYPERNEB 7% RESPULESHYPERNEB 7% Respules is a sterile hypertonic saline solution which is used for inhalation. It increases the mobilisation of secretions in the respiratory tract through an osmotic effect thereby manages the drying of mucus in bronchus. It contains sodium chloride as active ingredient which controls fluid volume and osmotic pressure. Sodium chloride is a source of water and electrolytes. Sodium is the principle cation of extracellular fluid and chloride is the principle anion of extracellular fluid. Sodium content normally determines the volume of extracellular fluid and is important in the regulation of osmolarity, acid-base balance, and the membrane potential of cells. Always use HYPERNEB 7% Respules as advised by your physician. It should be used with a nebulizer only. This medicine is not for injection or oral administration. It is for inhalation use only.
