Introduction

INTRODUCTION ABOUT HICOLD SYRUPHICOLD SYRUP is a combination of Ambroxol and Levocetirizine, which belong to the group of medicines called Mucolytics and Antihistamines, respectively. It is used to provide symptomatic relief for allergic bronchitis and asthma-associated allergic rhinitis in adults and children (aged 6 years and older). Allergic bronchitis is a condition that occurs due to inflammation of the bronchial tubes by an allergic reaction and is generally characterized by symptoms such as cough, wheezing, chest tightness, and weakness. Allergic asthma is a breathing condition where the airways tighten when an allergen is inhaled, such as pollen or mold spores, and is generally characterized by symptoms such as shortness of breath, coughing, wheezing, and a stuffy nose. Avoid taking HICOLD SYRUP if you are allergic to ambroxol, levocetirizine, or cetirizine or have end-stage renal disease (kidney failure). Before taking HICOLD SYRUP, inform your doctor if you have liver problems, such as hepatic impairment. HICOLD SYRUP is not recommended for use during pregnancy or in breastfeeding women, as it can pass through breastmilk.
