HB RED TABLET is a combination of folic acid and iron, which belongs to the group of medicines called haematinics. It is used to manage anaemia (deficiency of iron and haemoglobin).

Always take HB RED TABLET as directed by your physician. Swallow the medicine as a whole and do not crush or chew the medicine. Your doctor will decide the correct dose and duration for you depending upon your age, body weight, and disease condition.

Anaemia is a condition that occurs when the number of healthy red blood cells in your body is too low. Every part of your body needs a sufficient supply of oxygen to function effectively. Before taking HB RED TABLET, inform your doctor if you have had repeated blood transfusions, have epilepsy, kidney disease (or if you are on dialysis), liver diseases like cirrhosis, hemolytic anemia, pernicious anemia, anemia that has not been diagnosed by a doctor and confirmed with laboratory testing, or have an infection or a history of alcoholism.

Always take HB RED TABLET as advised by the doctor. Take the medicine one hour before or two hours after meals. If stomach upset occurs, take the medicine with meals.
