Introduction

HAEMOGOLD XT TABLET contains Ferrous ascorbate and Folic acid, which belong to the group of medicines called Hematinics. It is used to manage nutritional deficiency anaemia associated with iron and folic acid. HAEMOGOLD XT TABLET can also be used to manage anaemia occurring during pregnancy and breast feeding. Anemia is when your body can't produce enough hemoglobin (a substance in red blood cells that enables them to carry oxygen) due to insufficient iron. HAEMOGOLD XT TABLET is not recommended to be taken if you have any kidney or liver diseases, porphyria cutanea tarda, conditions affecting the iron level of your body, cobalamin deficiency, any malignant disease, inflammatory bowel disease, galactose intolerance, lapp lactase deficiency, or glucose-galactose malabsorption. It is not recommended to take HAEMOGOLD XT TABLET if you are receiving frequent blood transfusions and parenteral iron therapy. HAEMOGOLD XT TABLET is safe to take in pregnancy and breastfeeding;

HAEMOGOLD XT TABLET helps increase haemoglobin levels where ferrous ascorbate facilitates oxygen delivery and consumption, promotes cell growth and multiplication, and thus boosts red blood cells and haemoglobin synthesis and Folic acid plays an essential role in the production of red blood cells (which transport oxygen throughout the body) and during pregnancy, owing to its function in the development of the brain and spinal cord of the developing baby.

Directions for Use

Take HAEMOGOLD XT TABLET as advised by your physician. Swallow it with a glass of water. Do not crush or chew the medicine. Your doctor will decide the correct dose and duration of HAEMOGOLD XT TABLET management depending upon your age, body weight, and disease condition.
