INTRODUCTION ABOUT GRILINCTUS BM SYRUPGRILINCTUS BM SYRUP is a combination of Bromhexine and Terbutaline which belongs to the group of medicines called Mucolytics and Bronchodilator respectively. GRILINCTUS BM SYRUP is used in the management of productive cough associated with bronchial asthma, acute and chronic bronchitis and other bronchopulmonary disorders where bronchospasm, mucous plugging and problems of expectoration co-exist. Before taking GRILINCTUS BM SYRUP, inform your doctor if you have or have ever had a stomach ulcer or if you are taking any other medicines like antibiotics. How It Works
GRILINCTUS BM SYRUP is a combination of Bromhexine and Terbutaline medicine. Bromhexine is a mucolytic (agents that break down mucus present making it loose and thin) that it easier to cough out. Terbutaline is a bronchodilator which relaxes muscles in the airways, widens the airways and eases the symptoms.
Directions for Use
Take GRILINCTUS BM SYRUP as advised by your physician. Shake well before use. Your doctor will decide the correct dose and duration for you depending upon your age, body weight and disease condition.
Side Effects
GRILINCTUS BM SYRUP feeling sick (nausea) or being sick (vomiting), pain in the upper part of your abdomen, diarrhoea. Consult your doctor immediately if you feel any of these side effects worsen or persists for a longer duration. SA. Drug-Drug interactions: Before taking GRILINCTUS BM SYRUP, inform your doctor if you are taking any of the following medicine: antibiotics used to manage infections. (Ex. ampicillin, amoxicillin, erythromycin or oxytetracycline) Overdosage: If you or anyone else accidentally takes too much of GRILINCTUS BM SYRUP, consult your doctor immediately or visit the nearby hospital. Symptoms of overdose are abdominal pain, agitation, palpitations (being of your heartbeat), seizures/fits, hypertension, hypotension (fainting) tachycardia (increased heartbeat) nervousness, headache, tremor, dry mouth, nausea, dizziness, fatigue, malaise (weakness) and insomnia (sleeplessness).
